As Christians, we have been resurrected with Christ into new life (Colossians 3:1) and have been called to live out that reality through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the context of Christian Community. The Severns Valley Women’s Ministry exists to provide that community through female-based events and groups, aimed at helping women grow in their faith (pour in), tarry with one another in seasons of celebration and uncertainty (dwell), and demonstrate their faith through acts of service (pour out).
Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

Join us for Dwell and discover what it means to dwell in the goodness of God, even amidst the chaos of life. Come connect with other women on a deep level through a dessert fellowship, worship, and small group discussion based on a thought-provoking message from our special guest speaker, Sara Robinson. Leave feeling invested-in, loved, refreshed, and connected. Childcare available upon registration. But HURRY spots are limited!

Topical Studies
Wednesdays | August 30-Novemebr 15 | 6:00pm-7:30 pm
The objective of Topical Studies is to discover what the Bible says about a given subject in order to apply that knowledge to our everyday lives, as we continue to grow to look more like Jesus.
Join us for Topical Studies, kicking off August 30th from 6:00pm-7:30pm, with a dinner option from 5:00pm-5:45pm. We offer a variety of studies, prayerfully chosen to meet as many intensity and growth areas as possible. To view this semester’s lineup and to register, click below:

Threads of Love
Wednesdays | 9:30am-11:30am
Threads of Love is a mission-minded group of women who use their sewing talents to communicate the Gospel through a spirit of generosity and service. While ministry projects vary depending on the need, Threads of Love meets continually throughout the year, working on personal sewing and quilting projects, studying Scripture, breaking bread, and fellowshipping as sisters, woven together in Christ. GriefShare
Wednesdays | Starting August 30th 6:00pm-7:30pm
When suppressed or merely managed, grief is kept from doing its God-given work within us. GriefShare is a Christ-centered program that helps people apply biblical principles to their healing, as they deal with the emotions and life stresses followed by the death of a loved one. This program is specifically designed for those who have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend through death.
Participants will gain comfort, support, encouragement, and guidance from others who have experienced the unique pain associated with the loss of a loved one. They will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief, find freedom from certain emotions common to grief, gain valuable information about how to live in a new normal, and discover a renewed hope for the future.
Pray & Play
Thursdays | 10:00am-11:00am
Life as a mom can be hard. Distractions like work, appointments, cooking, cleaning, chauffeuring, and even parenting, can distract us from cultivating our faith. Pray and Play exists to help meet the need for spiritual growth by providing moms the opportunity to connect and discuss Scripture, while the kids play in a safe environment. Each week, we explore themes of God’s grace, mercy, and love, through one, easy to read, passage of the Bible. Join us as we grow as friends and prioritize our time with Christ!
