SV Women

Helping Women Pursue God.

Welcome to SV Women!

We are a group of women, whose number one goal is to pursue God. We want to be real–unashamed of our testimonies, sharing our weaknesses, praying over our struggles and celebrating God’s victories!

Whether you are a seasoned follower of Christ, or simply trying to figure this whole thing out, know that you belong here. We want to learn with you and from you. We enthusiastically invite you to join us for our Topical Studies, Prayer Times and special events throughout the year!

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the day approaching.

Hebrews 10:24-25

Third Thursday | Every Third Thursday 6:30PM-8:00PM

Join us for our monthly time of fellowship and prayer that takes place on (you guessed it!) the third Thursday of every month, at different locations around Elizabethtown. We can’t wait to see you there!

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

1 John 5:14

Women’s Community

Let’s get connected! The SV Women’s Community private Facebook group is a great way to stay up to date with the Women’s Ministry, while providing a safe space for women to request prayer, ask questions and just root for one another.

We can’t wait to get to know you! Click HERE to join our community!

Topical Studies

Join us for the return of our Topical Studies, on Sunday evenings, beginning January 23 from 5:30pm-7:00pm! Need to feed the family? We’ve got you covered! We’ll be serving pizza, chips, uncrustables, and water in the Atrium, from 5:00pm-5:30pm, all covered by your $25 registration fee (Registration fee is per adult and due upon registration. Fee covers Topical Study materials, food, and drink).

Jesus and Women | Led by Suzanne Combs and Tracy Moore

Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. In this 7 session study, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.

Not Alone: A Study on Friendship | Led by Chrissie Angell & Sarah Edwards

Join Jennie Allen, Lauren Chandler, and Amena Brown as they talk all about friendship. Find out why we need friendship, discover biblical examples of friendship, and identify the pitfalls, challenges, and joys of friendship. They’ll dive into the tough topics of toxic relationships, boundaries, and how to rebuild broken trust. But most of all, the teachers, real-life stories, and study guides will help you celebrate the encouragement, wisdom, and love that only comes when you’re not alone.

Growing Up: How to be a disciple making disciple (Co-Ed)  Led by Bryan and Brittany Kelly

You want to grow in your relationship with God. You take Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19 to making disciples seriously. You have a burden to leave an eternal legacy by investing in the lives of others. Or, maybe, you are looking for someone to invest in you. Join us on this journey to explore what it means to be a disciple and to, practically, make disciples!
